It's a software problem.
Hop over to the nVidia site and download the latest driver for your card and operating system.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Remember to uninstall the older driver/control panel first and read nVidia's instructions and release notes.

The Chronicles of Riddick was released awhile ago and if your video card driver is that out of date you should check the other drivers as well ( After you do the graphics driver update and make sure everything is running.).

The latest version for your card looks to be 175.19. The newer drivers will most likely do the trick

Try here:

http://forums.nvidia.com/lofiversion...php?t6957.html

It looks like the game doesn't recognize the newer version of Open GL, and the fix appears to be appling the patch for the game, as found at one source here: http://www.gamershell.com/download_9604.shtml

It would be a good idea to go over to game's forum and see what the current players have to say about getting the game to run well.

Here's the Tech Forum board : http://forums.vgames.com/forum.jspa?forumID=56
