Stargate mods for Half-Life2 released!!

For those of you not aware, there have been two significant mod projects for HL2 that have been in development for eons. Just by chance, I went to check their status a little while ago today and found out they had been released

Stargate Legacy:

http://www.moddb.com/mods/stargate-l...staller-client

Stargate TC2:

http://www.moddb.com/mods/stargatetc-2/downloads

You'll need the client and the patch for this one.

Just note that they're all somewhat large downloads (I'd suggest the filefront mirror)

Have you tried either yet? Sounds like fun...

Yeah. Both of them have high and low points. I'm more leaning towards TC2, but it all depends on what you're looking for in terms of gameplay.

Unfortunately, most of the online players for both mods are based in europe, which means high pings for north american players (90-115 at best).
