F.E.A.R. Trapped in basement

Does anyone know how to get out of the basement in FEAR?

This is the basement where there is a large pool of water pretty much in the middle and at one end there is a drop where if you jump down it you die and at the other end there is a gas leak with fire. There is also a way out in the ceiling but no apparent way of getting up there. Also, there is a fan which looks suspiciously like a solution but shooting it or blowing it up does nothing.

Thanks

I think I might know the level you are on but not sure. Check for a valve you can turn to fill up a pool or something. Might be thinking of the wrong place though.

I figured it out....and your right Blue. You have to jump a railing, and then find a valve to turn which fills up a pool which moves some boxes out of the way which exposes a submerged tunnel which leads you to another valve which turns off the gas...so you can make your out...LOL Typical of these types of games isn't it?
