heya, apparently there is a new call of duty coming out soon, im not sure what its called of memory.
What are your views and opinions about this? I think they are just announcing reskinned sequals exactly 3 seconds after the current product is launched. |

It's called Call of Duty: World at War.
It looks supper intense, even more so than the last. It seems like they've gone back to WWII, but that's OK. Game looks pretty cool, if you can handle the intensity. |

I just got CoD:Source from steam for $10. Good price, but I don't think I'll be using it much past that half hour I put into it. Just not my type of FPS

COD Source? COD is not a Valve game so I don't think there is a COD Source. It doesn't seem to exist on Steam.
Anyway, COD World At War is NOT an Infinity Ward production. It is being produced by the same studio that made COD 3 which, IMO, was lackluster. I don't have a lot of faith that COD 5 will be much better. I'll wait for Infinity Wards next installment and keep playing COD 4 in the mean time.

I'm kind of with Hi Ho on this one. Infinity Ward seems to do a lot better job than the other studio. While the trailer looks promising, I'll wait and see what the reviews are before buying or I'll just wait for COD6.

As nobody has mentioned it... I believe Cod 5 is using Infinity Ward's Cod 4 engine so unless Treyarch do something horrible with it, it should be far better than their last effort, Cod 3.
Don't dismiss Cod 5 cos it's not Infinity Ward, it uses their tech! (Or so I'm told) |

They are bringing back the online multiplayer option though!!! (Multiple players on one console online) which is the only reason I ever played COD 3

The trailers look pretty good, but I think it will be too intense for me.

I started playing CoD with the last one, COD4. I like to use the "current" weapons than the really outdated weapons. I've tried to play COD, COD2 and couldn't get into it like I did with COD4. I might rent to check it out.

I'm in the Beta right now - it's not that great. Lot's of complaints, bugs and unresponsive devs that keep moving feedback posts or deleting them. I'm definitely gonna wait for a demo to even consider this title.

I hope it's as good as COD4. I started with COD4 and its a great game. I like the Modern style of it instead of the World War era.

I'm in the CoD: World at War beta also and it's very disappointing. I love the CoD 4 multiplayer and World at War's multiplayer is just terrible. It's buggy, the levels are designed very poorly, the spawn points make no sense, the dogs are really annoying and really take away from the gameplay. I'm def. going to avoid this one.

I wish COD5 had been modern times. I like modern weaponry better. Oh well.

my clan chose not to support this game. we enjoy cod4 a lot, it tis the first out of the cod series that we have accepted as one of our games. our biggest fps we were ever into before it was SOF2 double helix, now THAT was an fps in the day lol we still play here and there. but i tell you, sof payback was our biggest dissapointment of all time. but anyway, some of use got cod WaW, but its not a supported game for our clan. It looked alright and some of the stuff was certainly itneresting, but really, to me it felt like maybe it should have just been an expansion or something, not a whole new game itself. the modern warfare is where its at lol. We will wait for cod5 and see how that goes.
