Free Games For Kids ?

Hi guys .. I didnt know about this section .. but its good to find it here .

Im looking for Real Free games for my little brother (6 yrs) and sister (12 yrs)..
well , they like action games and driving ... I would like to find free one for them .

the problem when they look for games on the web (flash games) , they sometimes download some viruses .. and of course use up the connection while Im busy playing online games .. and , have to clean cookies and bla bla after they finish playing (it slow down the net surfing badly) .

by the way , the pc they use is old ... PIII 800MHz , 348 MB RAM .. so my need is , FREE , Low Resources Usage , Offline game for KIDS !!

thanks in advance !

Thats very tough do you mean free in costing nothing for you because all games you buy cost something....
and how about NFS undergound 1 or NFS underground 2 or NFS Most Wanted or maybe something like Prince of persia sands of time? I know Prince of Persia is a good game and I'm still busy with most Wanted but they both cool games though Prince of Persia is kinda tough to play cuz, you gotta fight a lot of enemies around you.......

Search here for open source games: http://sourceforge.net/softwaremap/t...hp?form_cat=80

They should be free.

A race game from there: http://sourceforge.net/projects/torcs/

Grab the Oct. 2008 edition of MaximumPC and go to pg.58.
They have descriptions (and URLs) of 9 web games that are totally free (everything from wormholes to zombies) and won't get them hit with trojans.

I'm partial to Office Paintball : http://www.miniclip.com/games/paintball/en/

Don't go crazy with download.com...I've seen some stuff hosted that's known to come bundled with some adware. I'm not saying everything there is, as they don't alter the installers, but certain apps do come with undesirable software.
