nVidia Driver(s) Issue
Forced to install new 178.xx drivers in order to play BIA:HH - game worked fine.
Went to play Company of Heroes, Guild Wars, COD4 to name a few and all of the other games freeze after a few minutes. WHEN I REMOVE THE 178.XX DRIVER AND RETURN TO 175.XX, I NO LONGER HAVE THIS PROBLEM.... What gives? XP Pro (2) 8800 GT's in SLI E6850 3.0GHz Dual Core 2GB of RAM Anyone else experience this? |

To add to this, I have a Abit IN9 32X-MAX board. It's a 680i chipset.... I found this and I have never updated the nForce drivers and was wondering if that had anything to do with it? I found them here:

I have the Forceware 178.13 on my 9600GT and havn't noticed anything problematic yet (nstalled them yesterday). Its common or new drivers to have bugs and if they don't work for you then use older ones and wait until its fixed. You may want to try 177.83, I noticed a performance increase over 177.35 and 175.xx.
EDIT: Wait up, was just playing Crysis Wars and while the next map was loading, screen went black, came back, flashed white a few times, went black again, then came back on with the desktop in 640x480 4 bit mode with a dialog saying the graphics driver crapped out. Looks like I'm going back to 177.83.
