Error ID = 25
While uninstalling files related to the Phantom EFX ReelDealLive, I must have deleted something related to my Flight Simulator X (FSX). Now when I click on the FSX icon, I get this error warning box with a yellow aphostrophe symbol and a statement " Error ID = 25" and the word (null) under it. Stupid me I emptied the Recycle Bin right after removing the files thus it won't allow me to do restore. Anyone got any ideas short of uninstalling and re-installing the FSX?

I have never played that game and I don't have a manual for it but I do remember reading that it had a repair install option .
Time to go over to the tech forum for that game and ask the pros for guidance : http://www.fsx.co.za/forumdisplay.php?f=36

Pam 123:
Thanks for the response. Didn't get much replies from other forums so I tried one more source. Did a chat session with Microsoft Support and got the game working great again. The problem was a corrupt icon. Went to Start, Run and typed the path. Picked up the icon and dragged it to my desktop and that did it. Whew, I thought I was going to be forced to reinstall. I got about 20Gigs of add-ons. |
