Shouldn't have any performance issues.

Your rig is still good and meet the requirements but obviously will run into issues if you try cranking up the settings. Play around and see what settings work best for you.

Thanks for your feedback fellas. I'm interested in trying this title, but am much more comfortable using a mouse/keyboard setup rather than the xbox360 controller, so I thought i'd give the PC version a spin.

Another question also came to mind...On GOW's wiki page people mention quite a few bugs and issues concerning save games, frame rate, stuttering, etc...basically the nemesis of all fun PC gaming. Have these issues been successfully addressed in patches? Or is still kinda hit or miss?

I can run the game on max possible settings DX9 in 1280x1024 with silk framrates. I never had any issues with saving, stuttering or framrates. In fact this had to be ne of the most boring games I have (in terms of fixing problems).

That's good to hear - these days sometimes I feel like i'm taking a gamble when it comes to performance and pc games. It's too bad that Gears of War 2 won't be coming to the PC - what do guys think of that?
