New Game titles?
Hey all. Lately I've been wanting to play some fps and pc games again since its a long time i don't actually get into one. But the last time i looked into it was when F.E.A.R was one of the best graphics game.... that's was pretty long ago and im pretty sure today its outdated. What game today has one of the best graphics and most realistic that pushes TODAY'S best hardware to its knees? I haven't looked at this in a while and it hard to catch up now.. I can't buy every game out there...
EDIT: EHH sry maybe this should have been posted in the games forum.. Last edited by Spearball; 11-11-2008 at 09:42 PM. |

Crysis/Crysis Warhead and Far Cry 2 are the only ones I know (I only believe in FPS and RTS).

COD4 is pretty awesome. It's not as graphic intensive as say Crysis, but it has amazing gameplay. I would definitely check it out.

I quite enjoyed Bioshock (single player only, though)
Crysis is probably the only game out there that can't yet be maxed out on current hardware. But, if reviews are any indication, Crysis appears just to be eye candy, and not much else

How about Dead Space? Supposed to be quite a good looking game.
And apparently pretty darn spooky/atmospheric. (It gets top marks in this review: http://www.itreviews.co.uk/games/g506.htm ). |

Crysis and Crysis Warhead are both really fun games to play. It isn't just the graphics that are excellent.
I played both of them through a second time. I took more time the second time because there are a lot of things you miss if you rush through the first time. Its fun to play different strategies for taking out the bad guys the second time through the game. Its also fun to crank it up to the highest level the second time through....it certainly makes it a serious challenge.
