Online AoE III Problem
I've recently installed Age of Empires III on my computer, and I wanted to play it online with several of my friends. I installed the game, updated it, ran through the tutorial to get my bearings, and tried to connect online.
It would go through a couple steps, then give me a message saying that it was connecting to "ESO." Then it would immediately jump back to the main menu with this message: "You have lost your connection to ESO."
I have AVG Anti-Virus Free version 8.0.176, and Cybersitter version 10 installed on my computer, both of which were deactivated along with my firewall while trying to connect. We also have OpenDNS on the network; nothing about that was changed while trying to connect.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
