Upgrade?

Hi all,

My current video card is a Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 Pro. I am thinking of upgrading to a GeoForce 2 (or maybe 3). I'm wondering if the upgrade is worth it, for me. I run a 1.2 T-Bird w/512 RAM. I mostly run office apps, internet, some light gaming, watch DVD's and, sometimes, TV (an I/O Magic PC PVR tuner card). I sometimes get some screen flicker or hold when watching DVD's or TV. I'm wondering if upgrading is worth it for what I do, or if my current vid card is 'card enough'.

Thanks in advance.

For what you do the TNT2 is enough. Office and Internet are just 2D applications, TV is up to the TV card, for better DVD decoding get a hardware DVD decoder and, well, just light gaming is ok with this card.

Only if you want 3d performance, such as 3d games, then the GeForce 2 or 3 will give you a very very very noticeable performance boost.
