I've recently updated my monster fusion drivers and now during the boot sequence, my screen flickers and makes 5 clicking sounds. Does anyone know why?

The Diamond Monster Fusion runs on the 3dfx voodoo banshee chipset. The drivers that Diamond wrote are junk. Promptly uninstall them and install the latest set of 3dfx reference drivers. Download them here: http://www.3dfx.com/downloads.htm They are the last set that will be made as 3dfx is now a ghost.
I owned a monster fusion and the day I installed the 3dfx drivers was the day everything worked right on that card. I sold it to a friend and even now on nearly 2 year old drivers, all the games we threw at it ran with no glitches. Makes me wish 3dfx had not gone under. |

That worked awsome I think all my problems are solved. You my friend are a life saver. It not only saved me time over x-mas reloading everything, but now I can waste time playing wolfenstein.
