Call of duty World at War

I would like to know If my system would play the latest Call of Duty game. It meets the minimum requirements except for CPU (see signature) which is a P4 3.0 ghz. Has anyone played it with a similar system? I know I need to do some upgrading but doing that would require replacing about everything.

Thanks,
Joseph

You are going to stuggle running the game with less than 1GB or RAM, I would suggest upgrading your RAM and your GPU. You should be fine but the game will certainly lack graphic definition with the given specs. So upgrading would be a very wise decision.

At least meet the "recommended" requirements. Minimal is not always the best and will degrade game play. Sometimes the recommended requirements could degrade game play as well.

If you don't run anything in the background while COD is open, you "should" be okay to run it. Like some have already said, the game isn't going to look all that great with your current video card, and your going to have to bring the graphics down to their lowest settings. Having less than 1gb of ram is also going to hamper your rigs ability to adequately run the game. All in all, to answer your question, in theory your computer should run it, but if you are a stickler for things looking great and loading quickly, that it will not.

I am not sure about what vid card that is.
Check that it is "SHADER 3".
That has been the downfall for a couple ppl I know.
