Drakensang: The Dark Eye

Has anyone heard of Drakensang: The Dark Eye?
It's a classical single-player German RPG based on The Dark Eye series (Realms of Arkania trilogy makes up a large portion of The Dark Eye PC game series; I played the last in the series; Realms of Arkania: Shadows over Riva back in 1998 when I got my first computer). The English version is coming out sometime during this month or February.

I've downloaded and played the demo and though that the game is very well done. It's not like The Elder Scrolls series which has open ended game play; the game is quite linear, but gives you a few different options as you go through the game giving the possibility of having multiple endings.

The graphics are pretty well done, and the cutscenes are well placed, however having played games like Oblivion and Two Worlds, I found it weird that you cannot jump or swim in the game; however it helps keeping navigation simple.

The battle system is pretty good allowing you to have and control multiple characters easily, all of the fighting is done in real-time, however when you first encounter an enemy the game will pause to let you find out the enemy and issue commands, from there you can pause again at any time during combat. Overall I found the game to be well done and interesting to play.

Here are some links:

Official website: http://www.drakensang.com/index_en.htm
Link to demo: http://www.drakensang.com/oe2edit/oe...05&language=en

A note regarding system requirements: The requirements of this game isn't very high for a newly released game, however some computers may have trouble running the game at higher settings/resolutions; my old backup computer which I ran the demo on, uses a Pentium D 915 (stock) with a 7900GS at 20-30FPS with medium settings, low shadows and 1440x900 resolution enabled.
