ATI Radeon 64 mb SDR AGP
Hi ! I just bought an ATI Radeon AGP 64 mb SDR video card (for only $150 CAN !), and before installing it I have a few questions...
On the box it says that to be able to use this card the system must be a Pentium 4 or 3 or 2, or an AMD, or a compatible system with AGP 2X and/or 4X/2X universal bus. My question is : My CPU is a Pentium II 350 mhz, and my motherboard is a BH6. My motherboard manual says the AGP slot is an AGP 1X and/or 2X (sideband). Will my card work ? The guy at the computer store told me that it would work (but not necessarily at full capacity)(he seemed to know his stuff...). I know this question may sound stupid, but I am never too sure... Additionaly, what is a universal bus ? Thank you !!! pstj |

Yes, it will work fine at 2x. 4x AGP isn't really used until some pretty high resoutions.
