Nintendo 64 on the PC
Other than glitchy, slow, buggy, and sometimes illegal ROMs, is there a way to play N64 cartridges on the PC? I have 150+ cartridges and it would be great if some genius out there invented an adapter of some sort to make that work.
Any ideas?

There's actually some half decent emulators out there (DOSBox etc.), and I'll have to look on my old computer as I had a good N64 one. I can't remember if you could plug in N64 controllers, but you could definitely play the games.

Roms are great for SNES and NES (especially when you S-video them to your TV) but the 3d games (n64) just dont have the same feel in rom form. The ultimate would be an interface like a 5.25bay card reader that you could plug the original cartridges into and utilize the pc's horsepower to run the games at full FPS no matter what the action is. Or imagine a device that could accept all Nintendo cartridges AND contollers... *drool* I'd gladly give up $100 and two drive bays for a product like that. I can dream, cant I?
