Question No sound on Crysis

I just finished building my new rig and I installed the Crysis disc from the Maximum Edition and everything is running fine but I don't have any sound. I also lost the use of my volume dial on my G15 keyboard, I think this related to Windows 7 though.

Any ideas?

build specs
AMD 955be
MSI 790FX-GD70
OCZ 4gigs DDR3 1600
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4890
Windows 7 RC1

Do you have sound on other programs?

Have you tried to uninstall the sound drivers, boot into safe mode and use a program like Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper and make sure your HD is clean of the old drivers and reinstalling?

Yeah, I have sound on everything else (Hulu, media player, audio when inserting a thumb drive, etc.)
It's a new HDD, so no old drivers.

Have you checked the audio options in crysis?

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode?

Are your speakers plugged in to the correct audio jack(s)?

Is the sound unmuted and the volume up in the sound panel?

i noticed that after I close out the game that when I go to the sound panel (in right tray) I have two volume controllers side by side. then after I close it and I click back on it, it's gone. I've only noticed this happening after playing Crysis, which is the only PC game I have currently.

I'm just running through the speakers on my TV via HDMI cable right now.
