Neural Impulse Actuator

Anyone have any experience with this toy?

Heheh....hadn't seen that thing yet. Not sure how you would control a game with alpha waves though. I mean, alpha waves are supposed to happen when you are very relaxed, so how the heck are you supposed to play a FPS or similar game and yet be in alpha state? Beta, maybe, but alpha, no. Not unless you're some kind of Buddhist monk that plays video games. Most of the reviews said it didn't work very good and picked up facial movements moreso than brain waves. Don't think I'll rush out and buy one.

This technology is in its infancy. It has been used to help people who are immobilized such as those with advanced Parkinson's disease to manipulate a cursor on a screen with limited success. As far as using it like a mouse to play games, forget it. The technology is not at that level yet.
