KT7 and Geforce3

I read the thread and article concerning the Via/Geforce3 bug. However, on another forum it was mentioned that the Abit KT7 (via chipset) has compatibility issues with Geforce3 cards that go beyond the via bug and has something to do with voltage regulation. I checked the Abit and KT7 faq sites but no information is available. Has anyone heard of this problem?

I received the card yesterday (Geforce3 TI200), when I first installed it the 3Dmark 2000 score was only 3326!-- the previous score for my Geforce2 DDR was 5336. I upped the I/O voltage to 3.5 (from 3.3) and increased the APG Aperture to 128 and the score went up to 6356. I'm still not sure if this is a high enough score, I downloading the 3DMark 2001 right now and I'll see what that score is. Any other suggestions?
