Question Lower ping on CS:S

How can i lower my lag on CS:S it recently went up past 100, how can I lower it? I have comast 20mb, I am using a wireless adapter, but it was fine before. Any help is appreciated

Try clearing up your internet cache and running CCleaner and see if that helps. Make sure you have nothing running in the background either.

Are you using a 3rd-party firewall, or the windows built-in firewall?

3rd-party firewalls usually show a list of running apps and how much bandwidth they're using.

If you're using the windows firewall, try looking at something like netlimiter to monitor bandwidth.

Also, it may be a good idea to run a speedtest to make sure you're actually getting that 20mb. http://www.speedtest.net/

thanks guys I managed to fix it by uninstalling and installing CSS
