I can not get this video card to work with my system. pentium 200 mmx
matsonic ms-5025s motherboard. Computer will not start after card installed.any suggestions? |

Did you go to the device manager uninstall the old one then shut down then install the new one?

I see one of three scenarios
1) The card is a dud. 2) The card isn't fully seated. 3) The card is conflicting with something. Pull out your other cards and just install the video card to see if the system will at least post.

Also if you were using onboard video, meaning if the video you were using is integrated into the board you may have to disable it in the bios setup.
another thing to check is to go to add/remove programs and remove the program that was running the old video. |
