Is this the oringinal Doom 2 deigned to run under dos?
If it is youre gonna have problems installing under me.
I suggest you get Doom collectors edition. Its Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom on one CD. It is designed to run under 9x and me.
Its only $20 and well worth the price. Check it out here. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...983081-4096066

What I did was to create a folder on my HD and copy my old Doom II to it. Then I downloaded jdoom and voilà! I'm playing it on my W98FE system.

jDoom is cool. You may want to give it a try.

Here is the site:

And, these ports work on ev'ry version of Doom, so you may want to take JCB advice and get the Doom Collector's Edition and enjoy a complete Doom experience with the jDoom enhanced features.
