COD modern warfare 2 ver?

I need to find out what version of Call of Duty modern warfare 2 I am running.
It used to be in the bottom rght corner of games, but I don't see it. I looked in Steam and didn't find it there either.
Thanks

Not sure I've ever seen this. If you're online it will update automatically through Steam.

Ditto.

It doesn't matter if you don't play the game often (Team Fortress, for example, is not a favorite of mine.) it will update automatically anyway.

That's one of the things I like about Steam, you do not need to worry about updating. One of the drawbacks of this?...you have no choice but to update.

I don't get it with Team Fortress either Pam. I have tried this game a lot and can't seem to not get killed every 15-30 seconds. There don't seem to be any levels for newbies so they can practice getting better. Constantly getting killed got to be a real drag after a while so I pretty much gave up on that game.

Is the voice of the female announcer in that game the voice of the actress (Jeri Ryan) who played 7 of 9 in Star Trek? If not, she sure sounds the same.

It is still in the bottom right corner. I at least see it every time i play multiplayer. I can't remember if its when I'm in a lobby or just started a game, but I remember seeing 1.1.195 down in the corner.

Anomo,
Thanks. I don't see it in the SP game. All games used to have it there.
I know what steam does, I have used it since half life or HL2 which ever. Though I'm not a fan of it. I think you used to be able to use steam to see the ver you were at, but I guess they consider it redundant.
thanks to all for the replies
