New Medal of Honor
I just bought the new Medal of Honor. It's an incredibly real feeling game. You start out as a present day soldier on the ground in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban. I am only a few missions into the game but so far this is a great game. The medium difficulty level seems too easy. I think it's worth the $59 for its entertainment value.

I haven't played the single player portion of the game but I played the multiplayer beta and I really didn't like it. It felt just like Bad Company 2 which I don't like either. It looked the same and had all the same annoyances like no prone, no strafing while running, boring maps, and overall dull gameplay.
If I understand correctly, the single player and multi-player portions were developed by separate teams. It sounds like they did a better job on the single player portion.

That's funny because I have not tried multiplayer yet. There is prone and firing while moving in single player. The maps are pretty linear but the graphics are amazing. These are the best graphics I have ever seen for a game and I have a lot of games.

I got it through Steam yesterday and played it alittle. I think I'm just so use to COD. I'm use to going prone so much that when I play other games like CSS i try to go prone and end up dying. I'm looking forward to Black Ops.

I enjoyed the game but thought the single version was rather short on mission's myself, haven't played multi.

I was involved in the multiplayer Beta testing of Medal of Honor and plays exactly like Bad Company 2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this as the two games are a bit different in content. I guess the reason for it playing the same would be attributed to DICE doing the multiplayer on the game. As we all know, DICE is the gaming publisher/creators that make all the Battlefield games.

Im really stuck in two minds whether to buy this or just wait and buy COD in a couple of weeks :S
From the adverts I've seen they both look very similar. |

In regards to those that played the beta:
I was in the beta as well and was very disappointed. However, beta was just that, beta. Having played the full version now, I can safely say it's undergone a tremendous transformation and is incredibly fun. Single player I cannot comment on, as I don't play single-player games.
