Trying to install file(s) to make MW2 work.

I have an Eyefinity setup. When I go to use WM2 the image is stretched. This software, Widescreen Fixer, is supposed to make the correction. The problem is, I do not understand enough about files to understand the instructions.

I have Microsoft .NET Framework and 7-Zip installed.

I clicked on the game plug in for MW2 and was able to unzip the file. That's as far as I could figure out what to do. What do I then do with the three files?

How do I "Extract the game plugin .DLL file to the same directory as the main application."? ..as the instructions say to do?

Where is the application?...."Start Widescreen Fixer, select the game you wish to play, and select the proper aspect-ratio."

Which hotkey? "Start the game and press the hotkey (default is *) to enable or disable the fix." Not sure what I am supposed to substitute in for the asterisk.

Thanks

Edit, I found the application and was able to uncompress it with 7 Zip. When I click on WidescreenFixer.exe, UAC comes up as expected, I give it permission but I get a popup that says widescreen fixer has stopped working.
