well i found 2 cards 460 gtx 1 gb one of them is msi fac oced to 730 core speed with after market cooling and pipes and so . and a Gigabyte also fac oced but to a less core freq 700 core speed i guess , both are about same price , which sounded reasonable to me .
i know what khalil ranked both brands , Gigabyte = Green Excellent Quality
msi = Black Mid Quality but would the better after market modification for the msi
like the 2 fans and pipes and ocing makes it a better or equal choice ?

also the ati 5850 is about the same price, would i sound like a naive nvidia fan boy
if i didnt get that 5850 for the same price as the 460 gtx 1g ? i really liked that 460 fermi

the msi looks something like this

::YoYo Tech::

same price also

I would wait for a few independent benchmarks to come out to see if the performance/price ratio makes the card worth purchasing. I know how Nvidia and their card manufacturers typically price their new cards. You may also want to check to make sure the new drivers are good.

Not a loyal follower of either.

waiting is not a virtue for me now , i recently found a good local shop that has
some good hardware with a balanced prices . well its not a store neither new
egg . very few shops here are selling decent hardware , i only know that shop
so i wont have to import the card like i did with my pc also i will have my
warranty . but am guessing their stock is limited so i dont know what to expect to find
tomorrow , i see they have the kind of cards i want and am ok with the price
but am just confused which card of them to pick , might use some advise at
this point if i decided to go to the shop in the next few days and get over
with my cursed 9800gtx

Put it up for bid and see. A 9800 is old generation so its not worth anywhere near its original value. This is just my wild ass guess without looking but maybe a little over $100? Or look at Toms Hardware under graphics card ratings and see what other cards near the 9800 GTX are selling for....then discount it slightly from your competition so it sells.
