I have an asus eee pc 1005 hab with 1 GB of RAM and a "1.6 GHz" intel atom processsor. a flash game i play called stick arena is somewhat unplayable because of "lag" with the mouse; it doesnt move immediately when i move it. i know its the game because the cursor moves at full speed otherwise. is there any way to make the game run better?

Have you tried playing the game in another system? Does it do it there as well? It may be bad coding of the game itself.
Netbooks weren't designed for games. Even flash games can tax that squalid CPU. Just because it's Flash it doesn't mean it's not processor-intensive.

You have said so yourself.
The only things you could try are the standard ones: close all other apps, optimise the OS via msconfig to disable unnecessary apps running in the background andor starting along with Windows, and so forth. |
