Modern Warfare 3
Anyone else here a COD addict? It will be a midnight buy for me, I hope these new teams can fill the large shoes left from the original Infinity Ward.

If only they made COD compatible with Eyefinity....then I would be a huge fan. Why they don't I do not understand. Apparently the coding to do it is relatively easy for them. Going back to a single monitor for gaming is like wearing a pair of horse blinders. Yes, there are home brew fixes for this game, but they don't truly work.

Is everyone really still interested in Call of Duty? Don't get me wrong, I have played all of the CODs, but after COD/COD 2 in my opinion, IW dropped the ball PC wise. I would imagine with the IW guys over at EA (Respawn Games) that Battlefield will get some of its major issues worked out. Maybe I am wrong.

Does it seem to have a case of "Consolitis". (Dumbed down to be console friendly.)

I only play multiplayer on console, so I couldn't tell you about the pc version. However the game looks fantastic, and I believe it will give battlefield a beating again.

Consolitis is definitely part of the problem. Single player is just too short and not worth the time. The multiplayer is where I normally hang. I know IW/Treyarch allowed modding and what have you back into Black Ops, but they have just been removing aspects of the original game. Two main things I miss form the UO expansion was vehicles and what have you in multiplayer. Also the larger maps that could handle 64 people. The fact that IW/Treyarch had to be begged to add mod support and map creation really finished it for me. In my opinion, all they are doing is recycling the same material and charging more for less and less.
