Total War: Shogun 2 Loading Error

Hey Everyone! I'm new to the forum and was hoping to get some help with an issue I'm having with Total War: Shogun 2. Every other time I try to load Shogun 2: Total War, an error occurs and I receive the message "Total War: Shogun 2 has stopped working: A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." This occurs even if I reboot my computer. My computer has the following components:

Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit
2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2630QM processor 2.00 GHZ
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1 GB graphics

I've updated my video card to the latest driver, and I'm still having the issue.

Please Help!!!

Are you able to load and play any other games?

The only other game I have loaded on my computer is Warcraft III, and that seems to work just fine.

I would send you to the Total War forums but since Sega was hacked the forums are compromised as well and there's no telling when they'll be back on line : Sega Pass Hacked, 1.3 Million Accounts Compromised

You can try contacting Sega's customer support directly or, if the game is on Steam and you're a member , you may find a patch there if it's a wide spread glitch.
Failing those you'll have to wait till Sega fixes it's security and the forums are back on line.
