Total War: Shogun 2 Loading Error
Hey Everyone! I'm new to the forum and was hoping to get some help with an issue I'm having with Total War: Shogun 2. Every other time I try to load Shogun 2: Total War, an error occurs and I receive the message "Total War: Shogun 2 has stopped working: A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." This occurs even if I reboot my computer. My computer has the following components:
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit 2nd Generation Intel Core i7-2630QM processor 2.00 GHZ 8GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1 GB graphics I've updated my video card to the latest driver, and I'm still having the issue. Please Help!!! |

Are you able to load and play any other games?

The only other game I have loaded on my computer is Warcraft III, and that seems to work just fine.

I would send you to the Total War forums but since Sega was hacked the forums are compromised as well and there's no telling when they'll be back on line : Sega Pass Hacked, 1.3 Million Accounts Compromised
You can try contacting Sega's customer support directly or, if the game is on Steam and you're a member , you may find a patch there if it's a wide spread glitch. Failing those you'll have to wait till Sega fixes it's security and the forums are back on line.
