Crysis 2/DX 11
The Crysis 2 upgrade to DX 11 is now available. Crysis 2 was originally released as a DX 9 game.

I went to Steam this evening to see if they are going to include the patch right before you run Crysis 2 or if this is a patch you have to install on your own. So far, Steam is not doing the patch.
If one assumes the latter, exactly which file or folder would I add the patch to in Steam to get the patch to work? Please don't generically say the Crysis 2 folder....it is not that simple with Steam game folders. Both Steam and each game within Steam has many files and folders. Also, how does one direct a patch to a particular folder if not given this option when you go to instal the patch? Is there a way? Last edited by David M; 06-28-2011 at 10:22 PM. |
