Inspired by the Best game in the world thread, http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?threadid=22119 now I wanna ask all of you:
What is the worst game you have ever played? And why?

The worst games are those that are released with significant bugs and require several patches before the game works. Two come quickly to mind: Sin and Hell: A Cyberpunk thriller.

I don't know if it's the worst game, but I spend $50 on Tribes 2 and only played it for about 10 minutes total. It was just way to complicated, like combinining a flight-sim with a FPS.

Max Payne! Gorgeous to look at and fun to play foy a couple of hours. Ultimately empty and boring, a one-trick pony

Crimson skies---virtually impossible to find someone else if you were playing multiplayer.
Pool of Radiance---great graphics, but lots of bugs and crashes. And once your characters reach level 10 or so, you can kill virtually any of the "regular" monsters with no trouble. It ends up being an endless hunt through levels you've already killed everything on for some stupid key you missed the first time through. Collin Mcrae Rally 2---was supposed to be an awesome game--I wouldn't know, it either refused to install or refused to run after install on EVERY system I tried it in! Green Berets has got to get a mention too. |
