Hmmm. Reminds me of zombies
. But zombies times 100 . I still probably wouldn't even play MW3 though.

They make these trailers look good, but I don't seem to understand how three different studios that don't even work in the same building are getting this together. I guess they are recycling again?

Looks cool, but I've lost all hope in the Call of Duty Franchise. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'd play this game, but I don't see myself buying it. If a friend bought it and invited me over to play the game with him i'd play though. Battlefield just... something about that game makes me want it 100 times more then I want to even play Modern Warfare 3. I really don't think any Modern Warfare 3 footage is gonna change my mind on that. lol.

It's very-very-very cool (every single game from the CoD franchise is worth playing). However, the system requirements aren't going to be that "cool" this time :P

The problem is, then what do game makers do? Do they make simpler graphics so it is capable of being run on more desktops or make excellent graphics and have it capable of being run on fewer desktops?
I say advance the technology and the art of game making. If people don't want to purchase or cant afford the best graphics and game features then buy a console. Consoles are affordable for most people, so don't dumb down the desktop games. Last edited by David M; 09-03-2011 at 11:05 AM. |

What is everyone's thought on who we think is going to win the quality game award (Not the amount of money made off the product)? What I mean by that is the Modern Warfare 3 vs. Battlefield 3. I myself will play both Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3, but which will actually live up to their hype? I played the alpha of Battlefield 3, and all I have to say is it was probably the best Battlefield I have played. Not conceding that I am a Battlefield fanboy or anything like that as I own every Call of Duty and only BF2 and BC2. I thought Call of Duty/United Offensive was excellent. After, COD 2 and Modern Warfare were great games as well. In my opinion, World at War, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops were just recycles of the original Modern Warfare. Now getting back on track here, I thought the Multiplayer of Modern Warfare 3 looked surprisingly fresh and a bit different. Not what I was expecting in the slightest. Maybe the mass exodus from Infinity Ward was in order regardless of the circumstances that surrounded that. I think there will be an interesting battle between the two flagship war game franchises. Thoughts?
