Question CD prompt for games.....

Is there a workaround for the CD prompt you get every time you go to play a game? After awhile if you get enough of the dual CD games it gets to be a pain.....

If you have the space, you can image the entire CD to your HD and install it from there with that directory acting as a virtual drive. Then, everything would be run from the HD.

As for running the game without the CD, such discussions are taboo in this forum, but nothing is impossible.

Respectfully,

Demosthenes

Taboo to an extent... If you are the owner of a game and intend on using a "work around" for the sole purpose of not having to use your CD during game play, you could check out this site. They offer "patches" that will allow you to play almost any game without the CD. All game titles listed on this site have instructions on how to install the patch.
