Hi.
I just removed a 32 mb nvidia tnt2 card and replaced it with a 64 mb Radeon 8500 DV. I used nvdia destroyers and add/remove programs to remove nvidia drivers and then installed the 8500DV and Radeon drivers. Now when I play a game only some portions of 3D renderings everything else is gray. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am running Win XP Thanks. Treacle |

Have you tried the updated drivers? The original ones with the Radeon were a bit flakey from what I heard.
The game may just not like ATI also....I've seen games in the past that were written for a Voodoo card for example, and wouldn't work hardly at all with an Nvidia card. I think Tribes was like that... |

One thing I learned with ATI video cards is that if you get a Window during the installation of the drivers that tell you you are overwriting a file that is newer than the one on the install disk, overwrite it and use the one that came with the card. On ATI cards this window comes up on the GART install.
