Question
If I get a Celeron processor at 1200MHZ, would that work witht he games with systme requirements that need a pentium II or III to run?

Since the Celeron is a Pentium II / III, just with a fewer FSB and less cache, yes, it will work. With 1,2 GHz you'll get plenty of power for your games.
The Celeron 1.2 GHz is based on the Pentium III. RJ

But the CPU alone won't be enough, you need a good graphics card and 128 MB RAM at least.

Personally, I've only found a couple games that drag on my 500.
AOE2 will do it if I cram all the opponents possible, and build massive armies. Anything in the gigahertz range, with a good graphics card will eat up anything on the market today. |
