radeon 7500 or 8500

I have the 7500 and was wondering: for the price of the 8500, is it that much more better than the 7500. I have the dragon+ and amd xp1700+, so i have enough power. Just checking for possible christmas gifts.

It's a tough question to answer really. If you're a hardcore, heavy gameer, yea, the additional expense is probably worth it. If you're a light/ or non gamer, then the 7500 is probably plenty.
