Woot 4x AGP

Funny thing after i installed those drivers i rebooted, ran power strip.

system board was still listed and 2x and i could not click the 4x.

but something stuck me odd in there so i rebooted, went in the Bios and went over all the settings from the Floppy driver to video. I didn't change anything but i clicked a few opitions off and on, exited saving changes.

ran Power Strip 4X system board. some how it is enabled.

I bet it was the AGP driver from that page that did it. I will not have to try my EQ with all the Textures turned on.

I feel pretty good now.

Seems i have had this board for a year and only in the past Month sat down and Trouble shot it.

problem one Slow BOOTS but didn't bother me much. new promise driver fixed that. Now i might have an AGP problem that i just dicovered fixed.

Yes i am see the inproved performance in EQ. I have turned up most of the graphic options i want on and my system isn't even slowed down. I have the ingame clip plane to max. I have textures on High, 3D sky to full. Things are looking up now.

It would be nice to know what option it was the enabled the change in the bios. If you ever have a few moments to test it out, please let me know which setting it was...
