Recording on screen movies to VHS
It there anyway I can record movies playing on my laptop to a VHS tape with my normal VCR? My laptop has a TV-Out, so I have no problem connecting it and display it on the TV screen. However, it is shown on video 1... And for all I know, I can only record from channel 1 to 999 with my VCR. Is there any other way to record it?

Hello,
usually the VCR should have another connection besides the TV coaxial cable. Something like SVHS cable or so. Not sure if SCART connections are common where you live. When I did this, I connected my PC to my VCR via S-VHS cable. Needed a SCART adapter because my VCR has no S-VHS input, but SCART. Well, anyway, I choose A/V input on my VCR and that's it. RJ

if you look at the back of your vcr and describe everything that is backs there, I.E. inputs, i could tell exactly what you need to connect the computer to your vcr. it really is a simple process vut sometimes requires a little trick or 2
