My sister recently bought a game called Barbie Tm (it wasn't my idea!) But, anyway when she installed it, it came up with too little VRAM??? Is that video ram? Any my other question is: Sometime ago someone gave me a site, that would list all the stuff you had on your comp? Sorry, but I lost it
Could someone give me a link to it. Thanx.

Hi Sauron,
Yes VRAM is an abbreviation for Video Ram. What type of card is in the PC and what are the minimum card specs for the game? |

Cover your ears, eyes and whatever else...cuz my video card is supposedly the worse on the market (even though I like it
) Its a SiS6326 from AOpen and suddenly looking at my Display, about my adapter, I see I have about 4 meg...when I thought I had 16...DAMN THESE THINGS!

Then that would appear to be the answer.
I don't know what the system specs are so I can't even recommend a Geoforce 2 mx. Be aware that some older mobos will not run an original Geoforce 256 or a GF2mx. In fact, even some relatively newer ones won't. As you may have read in the Hardware forum, I have an Epox EP-8KTA/Duron 600mhz on my boys PC, about 18 mnths old, which will not accept a GF2mx. However, it will run a Creative TNT11 Ultra 32MB. Fortunately, this is coping with new games like Op Flashpoint, AvP2, but if I want better graphics, it looks as though I'll have to consider changing the mobo. On the other hand, I have a P2450 on a BX mobo that can run an original Geoforce 256. So it's just your luck. So what I'm saying is, if the mobo is an older one, and you don't want to spend too much on a new video card, then a safe, inexpensive upgrade, might be a TNT11 32MB or a basic Radeon 32MB. BTW keep your old 4MB card as this will come in very handy for diagnostics if you ever have a video problem. HTH |

Ok I will do that. Its a good card, I got all the drivers. Very easy to install. One more question. Is RAM plug and play? Like plug it in and you are all set?

Your mobo will detect the new RAM automatically

Yes, you're right. You just put the new ram in the DIMM slot and it will be detected. Just make sure you get the right Ram for the mobo or PC if it's an brand PC.
You can check what type of Ram you need for your system at www.crucial.com HTH |

If you'll use the new RAM with the 133 CPU then get SIMM RAM not DIMM.
