The Sims Mouse problem

Hi guys,

When I am playing The Sims and my mouse pointer passes over a dialog box the pointer disappears so you can only tell where you are going by the highlighting of objects when you pass over them

Any ideas/previous experiences?

Thanks,

I've never played The Sims before, but by any chance have you enabled the mouse property which hides cursor while typing? If it's a dialog box the computer might be confused and think you're going to type something. Not sure, but just a thought.

Nice idea, but no I haven't

It would seem the problem only occurs after I install a No-cd Crack. (I can't be bothered to keep finding the damn CD and putting it in)

Before this though everything is fine, it would seem

Unless anybody knows how to bypass the cd check in the sims I suppose I have to stick with the no mouse problem or have to find the cd

Thanks,

Previous experience: the sims works smoothly for me.
Suggestions: Try downloading latest drivers for your graphics card.
