TV-out
I got my GeFoce 3 with TV-out, and I got a S-Video cable. I hooked it into the back of my TV, and the first time I tried I couldn't read anything on the TV and it took a long time to get the display to go back to the monitor. The second attempt, I memorized where everything was then tried.
I got farther, I set the resolution to640X800(lowest it could go?), I could hardly read anything because off lines between everty pixel. I have it set for a S-video output, and I have the rgiht monitor format. I even tried to play unreal tounament, and in the begining demo it looked great! The resolution looked a lot higher, it was just like a movie. But I had to abondanded that I dea because I think I got the screen arear up to high, and I could't find the buttons to start a fight. What should I try? Also, how do I make a shortcut to the "diplays" in the conrtol panel? I think I will be adjusting these settings alot and going throught the control panel is annoying. TIA Logan

Yeah, the options of the driver are very very very few and there aren't any shortcuts to switch from TV to monitor and vice versa.
Look here: http://www.tvtool.de/index_e.htm TVTOOL is a great shareware program which allows you to set up everything you need for the TV out. The nvidia drivers are not used for this, tvtool directly communicates with the chipset. Your graphics card has Conexant I think, but tvtool supports the most common ones, so I think it will work on your card. On this site there is also some useful information about setting up the tv connection and configuring tvtool. You can download a free trial that works for 10 minutes. If you like it, you can register it for only $10. Once registered you will get a key for every new version, thus you don't need to register every new version. I registered when tvtool 4 was the current version, and every time a new version came out I got a new key from them. If you want to use the TV-Out alot, the $10 are IMHO worth it. All versions except the first version tvtool 5.0 worked great for me. Haven't tried the new 6.0beta, though. HTH RJ
