DirectX 8.1
Hi all,
Just after some opinions on DirectX 8.1 You wouldn't BELIEVE the amount of positive and negative comments I have read So then, what's the verdict? Good or Bad? Thanks,

Have had it since it's introduction and haven't had any problems related to it.

no problems
No problems here, I run DirectX 8.1 since it came out and all my games (Counter-Strike, Total Annihilation, Red Alert 2, Age of Empries, Worms 2, Aliens versus Predator etc. etc. etc.) work.

I have win xp and direct x 8.1 comes with it, I don't have any problems, I install on every machine I build(usually win98se) and again no problems.

OK, Thanks for all of the input and opinions
I already installed it and have no problems, better framerates in fact (Up by 10FPS in most programs) Thanks again, |

Perhaps I join the directX 8.1 review a little late, but I've got it, and I've had no probs with it.
