Radeon & XP Update Problem
Hi all, I have a ATI Radeon VE 64Mb SDR VO. I installed it last week with the new XP driver from ATI, I have since used "Restore" and I had to install the XP driver again. The problem is that is keeps on giving me 1 of 2 error messages.
1 The driver is not compatable with this adapter. (Which I know is rubbish) 2 Try installing in VGA mode ( Which I have tried and it just repeats 1 of the 2 errors) My routine is as follows 1 enter safe mode 2 uninstall present driver 2a I have tried both rebooting at this point and not rebooting, same effect 3 install new driver 4 Setup installs temp then gives me the errors I have listed above. I know they will install as they did last week when I got the card, but I must be overlooking something. Please help, I am at my wits end. Thanks
