Ok, besides the server how wouls I go about setting one up with a good connection. I want to run a Red Faction server for my entire Red Faction community.

First off, what type of connection do you have? Anything slower than a fast DSL/cable line won't be enough.

It varies from game to game, but it's not that hard. Look online for a red-faction dedicated server tutorial. I learned from my C-S server though, although it ran well the lagged sucked with more that 5 people in game. This is on DSL keep in mind.

I'm on Cable. Road-Runner w/ SpeedGuide.net patch I get around 35Kbs Upstream and like at max 350Kbs Down steady. Know any better patches?
