Question Tribes 1 or 2?

Which is better? Are either like Halo (X-Box) ? Thanx.

I havn't played Tribes 1 but I have Tribes 2 and it's what's mostly played online now. It is somewhat like Halo in the "environment" sense, but Tribes is a totally online multplayer game and is much more complicated. It's also not just "shoot-and-spawn" type deathmath, it involves a lot of teamwork and thinking (it has lot of keys and menus to memorize).

Yeah, like RenegadeKing pointed out, there is a single player training mode that lets you play against bots until you learn the game.

Load Tribes 1 and get the feel for the weapons and movement, then find the Blair Lag Project server. The regulars there are very helpfull to newbs.
