graphics tweak on Plll
"Note that some CPUs, such as AMD's K6-2 and K6-III and Intel's Pentium III, have special instructions to improve performance with the CPU-intensive transformation and lighting portion of 3-D games. This should alleviate some of the bottleneck, although processor speed will also play a role."
I just read that in an article. Does any one know what they are refering to? That was the extent of the info, as far as the "special instructions" are concerned. |

I think the article is talking about MMX, 3D Now! or SSE instructions that are written into certain games and multimedia software. Cricket
