Geforce IRQ sharing problem in Windows 2000

Hello all.

I am using Windows 2000. I just purchased a new video card, Visiontek Geforce3 Ti/200. However, this card, my network card, and my sound card are all using IRQ 11. Therefore, my sound card is not working. Is there any way to set the IRQ's manually or not have these cards share IRQ's? I read somewhere that Windows 2000 shares IRQ's between all PCI/AGP or whatever add on cards.

But I am sure there is someone out there using Geforce cards with Windows 2000 so please help me. I would hate to go back to Windows 98.....

Thanks a lot!!

Slim

Hey I have a question about my GeForce3 Ti200 video card, is it OK to be sharing the same IRQ as the USB universal host controller? I am using XP.

Thanks,

I just figured it out and got everything working. I read through www.geforcefaq.com and changed some settings in Bios and now everything works even though they still all share the same IRQ.

Win2K/XP assigns all cards to one single IRQ. . that's normal for Win2K/XP, only in Win9x this would be something to worry about.
