Hi
I need step by step instructions on how to Install a video card driver System is Windows 98 SE the card is installed the driver has been removed by mistake the card is a Pine SIS6326 8mb PCI Vga. I downloaded the driver from the Pine website I just need to know the proper way to get it onto the system and help would be great Thank you |

what form is the file , ie. exe, drv exc...

Hi it came as a zip file i unzipped it there is a lot of files in there
SETUP LAUNCHER.EXE, and 6326device driver and a lot more i hope this helps thank you |

Hello TTX,
I will try to answer your question on what I think you mean. If there is an executable file among the zip file, it will probably run a setup program that will guide you through the install process. Otherwise, you can right click on my computer and go to properties. Find the device that you are having problems with (will probably have a yellow question mark if its not working right) and double click it. That will bring up a window that will tell you either the device is working or not (like you don't already know that). But also there is a button to reload the driver. Click that and it will want to know where the driver is.....type in the path to where ever you unzipped these files and it should load the driver. You will have to restart your computer.
