New graphics card - suit my AGP slot?
Hello
I have resigned myself to the idea that my S3 Savage 4 card will not permit MOHAA and other games to be displayed. So I am considering buying another video card. SiSoftSandra says my AGP Bus is running version 2.00. QUESTION: Does this mean that any decent video card will have to state that it will only run on 2, or can I use a card that states '4' in its' spec? Sorry, no furhter data on my mainboard available. Thank you in advance. teemro. |

The 2.00 you're talking about is the AGP bus revision, or version, as you want. The 4 you saw is the multiplier, in fact, it's 4x. The AGP 2.0 will support almost every recent graphic cards like Geforce 3.
