Dragging window?
Just something that has been bugging me for some time. when you minimize a window and you then try to drag it on the desktop, why do some machines show the window being dragged and others a transperant box? Sorry for the long sentence, just getting tired. Does this pertain to the video card one is using or is this some type of setting that one must change. I have seen this in multiple OS's so I am hoping it is a setting. TIA

Go to DISPLAY PROPERTIES (I'm using Win98SE) and then go to the EFFECTS tab and you should see the SHOW WINDOW CONTENTS WHILE DRAGGING option that need to be checked if that is what you desire.
Good Luck,

In WinXP enter display properties, then appearance and on the lower right there is the "effects" button. Click on it and check "show window contents while dragging".

Thanks guys,
Yesterday while messing with some wallpapers I ran across that button. I checked for a couple of hours after I posted but nobody responded so I decided I would answer my own question today. Today I see you guys have the answer so I will just end this post. Thanks Edrod13 |
